Heading down to your local cafe on the weekend for brunch is what living in Melbourne is all about. With pooches becoming more and more involved in their owner’s lifestyle, it is little wonder so many of them enjoy the cafe culture with us. It is a great way to enjoy time outside of the house with our furry friends, especially when long walks in the park is not an option. It is amazing how many people you meet who want to pat your dog and say hello, and if your dog is anything like my attention seeking Remy, they’ll love it!
Working from home, I regularly head to my local cafes for a change of scenery and Remy often tags along. Local Folk, Kensington is a favourite amongst the the community and their pooches. Especially the pooches! Why? It’s simply really. Treats! Endless amounts of dog treats and plenty of pats from the dog loving staff ensure all dogs feel like royals while their owners sip on their lattes. Remy spends many mornings eagerly awaiting for his favourite baristas and waiters to come out and give him treats, keeping a close eye on the door for any sign of movement his way.
